Domain-registration information can provide useful context, but it cannot prove that a website, company, recruiter, or job offer is safe. Established domains may be compromised, and legitimate organizations may use recently registered domains.
Mail records
MX records show whether a domain is configured to receive email. Their presence does not prove that the sender or organization is legitimate.
Registrar and nameservers
Public RDAP data may identify the registrar, important dates, nameservers, and registry statuses associated with a domain.
Checking a recruiter or job offer?
